wedge sneakers

Hey Beauties!

Ich sitze gerade hier in der Lobby des Hotels und verfasse den Post für euch. :) Nein, ich bin noch nicht in London! Ich bin gerade am Flughafen und gegenüber liegt ein Hotel. Leider ist mein Flug morgen ziemlich früh und, da ich nicht von Nürnberg aus fliege mussten wir hier eine Nacht verbringen. 

Entschieden habe ich mich für ein eher gemütliches Outfit für den Flug. Kombiniert hab ich mein eher schlichtes Outfit mit Schuhen, die mich erstens mal etwas größer aussehen lassen als ich bin und die ich zweitens auch im Alltag tragen kann. :D Also war es mehr als perfekt, dass meine "High Tops", oder auch als Wedge Sneakers bekannt, von Soyoushoes vor Kurzem ankamen. Also perfekt für den langen Shoppingtag in London. Der Shop hat eine riesen Auswahl an Schuhen (von ausgefallen bis schlicht) und der Versand war super schnell. :)

I'm currently sitting in the lobby of my hotel writing the post for you, guys. :)  No, I'm not yet in London but my flight is in the early morning so it's better to be well rested. I cannot wait to be there again! Only 10 hours and I'm back in my beloved home country. But anyway, I needed a comfy outfit for the flight and shoes in which I look a bit taller than I really am  (for those of you who asked, I'm a 5'4) but are still suitable for daily use. :D  So it's perfect that I got a pair of "High Tops" or also known as wedge sneakers from Soyoushoes.  The shop has many different shoes and the shipping was really fast as well. I'm glad to found that shop and the high tops are definitely my NEW LOVE!

Nun gut, ich denke, dass ich nun schlafen gehen werde. Ziemlich früh aber ich will nicht morgen total verschlafen durch London laufen müssen. Ich weiß, dass es so ein typisches Liebe-Hass-Teil ist und am Anfang war ich selbst nicht so sicher, aber ich bereue es keineswegs mir welche zugelegt zu haben! :)

Well, I think I will go to bed now. A bit to early for me but I don't want to be drowsy with sleep tomorrow. So let me know what you think about those wedge trainers? I know it's kind of a hate-love relationship. At first I wasn't too sure as well but I don't regret it! :)

reveal the goddess in you

Hey Lovelies!

Mein lang ersehntes Packet von Mr. Gugu & Ms. Go ist endlich angekommen und ich konnte es kaum erwarten, die Teile zu tragen. Ich liebe fast alles von dem Online-Shop, weil sie endlich mal Teile verkaufen, die ausgefallen und dennoch günstig sind. Bei mir haben sich so viele Basics in meinem Kleiderschrank angesammelt und ich dachte es ist mal Zeit etwas Neues und Anderes zu probieren. Ich wollte schon seit einer etwas längere Zeit solch ein Rock und eine Printleggings haben aber ich wusste nie genau, wo ich die Perfekte herbekam. Entweder war es mir zu teuer oder der Aufdruck hat mir nicht wirklich zugesagt. Die Qualität ist super, der Rock ist aus einem sehr stretchigen Material, sodass er sich wie eine Art "zweite Haut" anfühlt. Ich brauch definitiv noch mehr Teile davon in meinem Kleiderschrank! :D

My eagerly awaited package from Mr. Gugu & Ms. Go arrived. I love literally everything from this online-shop, because they sell amazing edgy clothes at an affordable price. I have so many basics in my wardrobe so it's time to try something different and new. I always wanted such a skirt or leggings like this so I couldn't wait to wear it. :D  The quality is amazing, it feels like a second skin because of the stretchy material.  I definitely need more of this brand in my wardrobe!

Ich finde die Venus drauf einfach toll! Zwar wurde ich im Lateinunterricht oft mit solchen römischen Gottheiten gequält aber hey, sie steht für die Liebe, Schönheit,  Ästhetik und für mich ist sie einfach die pure Weiblichkeit! haha :D 

Was denkt Ihr so über Prints? Mögt Ihr's?

Achja, ich hab zwei Teile von diesem Shop, aber das andere werdet Ihr noch demnächst in einem Post sehen! Also bleibt gespannt! :)

one thing destroyed

Hey Dolls!

Zuerst einmal ein großes Dankeschön an Euch für all Eure lieben Kommentare und das ganze positive Feedback zum neuen aber noch nicht ganz fertigen Bloglayout. Ich will, dass Ihr wisst, dass ich es sehr zu schätzen weiß und Ihr zaubert mir immer  wieder ein Lächeln auf's Gesicht. :) I hoffe Ihr könnt verstehen, dass ich momentan nicht jeden Blog anschauen und nicht jeden Kommentar sofort beantworten kann. Momentan hält mich das Praktikum sehr auf Trab.

Jedenfalls war es heute endlich wieder möglich Sommerkleidung zu tragen! Juhu! :D Also hab ich das Vest Top von Illustrated People angezogen, das ich Euch ja noch zeigen wollte. Mir gefällt der Aufdruck, der ein Mix aus einem Totenkopf mit einer Art Aztekenmuster zu sein scheint, und der Schnitt total. Kombiniert hab ich das Ganze mit meiner destroyed Vintage-Shorts von Levi's (hab ich vor einem Jahr in London/Camden gekauft) und den bekannten studded Loafers von Topshop. Normalerweise mag ich nicht so gerne flache Schuhe tragen, weil ich nicht gerade groß bin. haha :D Ich fühl mich einfach etwas wohler wenn ich Heels trage aber an so heißen Tagen ist's mir dann auch egal!

First of all a big Thank You for all your lovely comments and your positive feedback about my bloglayout. I really appreciate it and it always makes me smile. :) I hope you can understand that I can't look at everyone's blog or answer every comment immediately. I really do my best! But the internship keeps me on the go. 

Today it was possible to wear summer clothes again! Yeah! :D So I wore the vest top from Illustrated People, which I wanted to show you. I really like the pattern, which is a skull with a kind of aztec print and I love the shape of it as well. 

So finally I combined the vest with a destroyed Levi's shorts, which I got from London last year and my studded loafers. I don't wear flat shoes that often, because of my height. haha :D I feel a bit better when I walk in heels but on hot or relaxing days I don't care!

Naja, etwas Negatives hatte die Sonne heute ja schon... ich hab gleich einen fetten Sonnenbrand bekommen. -.-' Na toll! Ich creme mich das nächste Mal definitiv ein! 

Nichtsdestotrotz werde ich nun mein Notebook nehmen und es mir auf meinem Balkon, mit kalter Melone und einer leckeren Sprite, bequem machen. Ich hoffe Ihr genießt die heißen Tage diese Woche! :)

Well, sun is back and I got a bad sunburn. -.-' It hurts but I will definitely use sunblocker the next time!

Anyway I will go and enjoy the warm evening in front of my notebook on my balcony, while eating cold melon and drinking a bit lemonade. :) I hope you're enjoying the few hot days we have now!

back in time

Hey Dolls!

Wie Ihr vielleicht schon bemerkt habt, hat sich mein Header verändert und ich denke, dass ich mich diese Woche generell um die Dinge, die auf meiner To-Do-Liste stehen, kümmern werde. Also wird mein Blog noch weiter ausgebessert und vieles mehr erstellt. Dann muss ich noch so einige Bewerbungen rausschicken (bald ist auch wieder das Prakitkum um) und endlich mal die Wohnung fertigstellen. Im Moment ist das irgendwie nichts Halbes und nichts Ganzes.  Man sollte das nicht die ganze Zeit aufschieben!

As you may have noticed, I changed my header but I'm still not ready with the whole layout. I want to change several things but I think I'm finishing it by the end of the week. There so many things on my to-do-list e.g. sending out some applications (my internship ends soon), finishing the interior of my flat and more. I should definitely stop to defer doing everything!

Das schreckliche Wetter in letzter Zeit hat sich irgendwie sofort in der Farbwahl meiner Kleidungsstücke widergespiegelt. Schwarz/Weiß ist bzw. war zu dieser Zeit einfach meine Lieblingskombi. Deshalb wurde auch mein mein schwarzweißgestreiftes Shirt ausgekramt und kombiniert wurde das Ganze mit Lederjacke und weißer Hose. Zwar ist eine weiße Hose nicht jedermann's Sache aber ich finde, dass sie vielseitig und dem Outfit nicht immer einen rockigen sondern mehr eleganteren und femininen Touch verleiht. :) 

The bad weather had also a bad influence on the clothes I've chosen for my outfits the last time. I felt like being married with black and white clothes. haha :'D But it's still one of my favourite combinations during this kind of weather. That's why I digged the striped shirt out of my wardrobe. I combined it finally with my white pants and my leather jacket from Zara.

I know white jeans are not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's such a versatile and important piece and it gives the outfit not really a grungy but also an elegant and feminine touch to it.

Nachdem wir dann etwas durch die Stadt geschlendert und fast von den Touristengruppen aus China mit ihren Kameras überrannt worden sind, haben wir dann einen Stopp bei Pizza Hut eingelegt. Mein Freunde wollte dort ja unbedingt essen und es war eigentlich super lecker. Aber ist halt eher was für Männer, weil ich fand sie ehrlich gesagt etwas sehr fettig. :'D Also Mädels passt auf, weil es geht auf Dauer auf die Hüften! 

After we went for a walk trough the city and were nearly ran down by a group of tourists from China, we took a break at Pizza Hut. My boyfriend wanted to eat there so bad. It was really delicious but the pizza is a bit too fatty so be careful, girls! :D haha

chasing the sun

Hey Dolls!

Ich bin schon fleißig dabei die Tage bis London zu zählen. Ich kann's kaum abwarten wieder "zu Hause" zu sein und mich endlich wieder komplett wohl zu fühlen. Ich vermisse irgendwie alles... Sei es das leckere Essen oder sogar die Luft! haha Klingt komisch aber vielleicht weiß der ein oder andere was ich meine! :D 
Der Sommer scheint ja sowieso wieder fast um zu sein und da stört es mich dann auch nicht wirklich wenn es dort drüben auch nicht viel besser sein wird. :'D Aber denken wir ja nicht so pessimistisch! 
Mich erreichte ein Paket von Illustrated People (London). Im Paket befand sich dieses Shirt und noch ein weiteres Top, was Ihr hoffentlich bald zu sehen bekommt, wenn denn auch das Wetter mal mitspielt. 


I'm so excited and I'm counting the days till I'm back in London. I can't wait to be back "at home"! I honestly miss everything there, from chocolate till the air. Everything! haha
Currently it seems like summer is over and I can stop wearing anything summery right now. Anyway I don't care that much, because I think the weather is not so good in England as well, isn't it? But stay positive!
Not long ago a package from Illustrated People (London) arrived and I was really excited about it. In the package were two shirts, a tee and a vest top so I hopefully can show you the other top when the whether gets a bit better. 

Wie Ihr wisst liebe ich es simpel und klassisch also habe ich das Shirt mit Basics kombiniert. Mode sollte ja schließlich Spaß machen! :) 

Der lockere Schnitt und der Print geben dem ganzen Outfit noch die gewisse Coolness. Außerdem ist der Stoff super weich, der Print ist nicht aufgebügelt und das Ganze ist auch noch Made in Portugal (also nichts da mit China)! Generell hat der englische Shop viele modische Kleidungsstücke und vielleicht schaut Ihr ja mal vorbei wenn Ihr mögt, und schon länger auf der Suche nach ausgefallenen Shirts seid. :)

As you all know, I'm a big fan of simple but also classy combinations, so I decided to combine the shirt with basic clothes. My motto is: Fashion should be fun! :)

The loose fitting and the print are giving the whole outfit a bit coolness, which I love. Also the shirts are of a really nice material, the print is not pressed and they're made in Portugal (yes.. not China!)! I think this English online-shop has lots of many unique and fashionable shirts, so check their site out when you're looking for some special shirts beyond the mainstream. :)

Hey Dolls!

Zuerst möchte ich Euch erstmal vor einer Bilderflut warnen. haha :')

So.. normalerweise wisst Ihr ja, dass ich kein großer Fan von Sonntagen bin. Ich finde sie einfach langweilig und ich weiß auch nicht wirklich was ich an solchen Tagen machen soll. Man räumt vielleicht auf, liest etwas und schaut TV... Zumindest war es diesmal etwas anders und ich hab es genossen einen richtig freien Tag in der Woche zu haben, an dem ich mich entspannen kann. Ich mag hier insbesondere diese überfüllten Sonntage in der Stadt nicht. Im Moment scheint alles so stressig und hektisch zu sein. Schlimm! Zumindest hab ich mir heute einfach Klamotten angezogen in denen ich mich richtig wohl fühle, hab in meine Tasche ein Paar wichtige Dinge gepackt und auf ging's nach draußen.

First of all I'm cautioning you, there are a lot of pictures in my post this time.  haha :') 
Normally I'm not a big fan of sundays. I think they're so boring and you can't do anything really. But this time it was so relaxing and soothing. I don't like the overcrowded saturdays here in my city and everything seem to be so stressful and frantic at the moment. I threw some clothes on, in which I feel good and comfy in, packed my bag with essential stuff and went out.

Heute habe ich das erste Mal meine neue Tasche von Oasap getragen und ich kann jetzt schon sagen, dass ich sie liebe! Man kann sie sowohl als Clutch oder als Umhängetasche tragen und die ganzen Nieten geben der ganzen Tasche das gewisse Etwas. Die Tasche ist auch in anderen Farben erhältich, Ihr könnte ja hier mal schauen wenn Ihr mögt. :)

Einige von Euch haben mich gefragt, wie die Qualität und der Versand bei Oasap so ist und ich kann nur sagen, dass ich noch nie Probleme mit diesem Online-Shop hatte. Ich musste weder zum Zoll noch kam sie kaputt oder in einer minderwertigen Qualität an. Also alles top! :) Der Versand dauert in etwa 2 Wochen.

I wore my new bag from Oasap today. I love this bag so much! You can wear it as a clutch or as a shoulder bag and the studs give the whole bag something special. Some of you asked me, if the quality and shipping is good and I can only say that I never had any problems with this online-shop. The packaging is always safe and the bags are of a really good quality. No studs came off, no scratches or holes! The shipping is also very fast, I think it only took 2 weeks to arrive. They have the bag in other colours as well.

Nachdem wir dann ein paar Fotos geschossen haben sind wir dann zu Starbucks gegangen. Ich wollte unbedingt die neuen Getränke, die sich Refresha nennen, probieren. Ich hab mich dann für die Sorte Very Berry Hibiscus entschieden. Es ist definitv eins meiner neuen Lieblingssommergetränke! Und ich find's eine etwas andere und gute Idee auch ein paar Beeren mit reinzutun. :) 

Vor einiger Zeit haben sie ja hier angefangen Namen auf die Becher zu schreiben. Ist ja 'ne gute Idee, wenn die Namen denn auch richtig geschrieben werden. Jedes mal schreibt man mich falsch. :'D Ich nehm's nicht persönlich und sie hätten es auch ganz lassen können, aber sie wollen ihn immer unbedingt raufschreiben. Manchmal ist dann auch der ganze Becher voll geschmiert. -.-' haha

Was haltet Ihr von der Idee? Und habt Ihr auch solche Probleme, dass man Euren Namen immer falsch schreibt?

After we took some pictures we went to Starbucks. I really wanted to try out the new drink called Refresha in Very Berry Hibiscus. I love it! Definitely one of my favourite drinks this summer. I think it's a lovely idea to put some berries in it. :) And quite a while ago they started to write names on the cups. A nice idea, but only when the names are rightly spelled. They always write my name wrong... Always! :'D haha But never mind! I'm not angry about it, I think it's quite funny. :) What do you think about this idea from Starbucks? And do you have the same problem, that others can't spell your name right? 

Hier noch ein Paar Dinge, die ich mir vor Kurzem so angeschafft habe. The Body Shop hatte einen Sale und da musste ich die zwei Duschgele kaufen. Ich liebe diesen frischen sommerlichen Geruch, besonders von dem Apricot & Basil. :) Und dann hab ich mich noch für zwei Nagellacke entschieden (Essie - Penny Talk und Essence - Iced Latte). Mal etwas anderes als immer nur Rot. :'D

Finally some things I bought in the last few days. The body shop had a sale so I bought those fresh smelling shower gels. I love especially the Apricot & Basil one. The other things are two nail varnishes from Essie in Penny Talk and Essence in Iced Latte. Some different colours than only red. :'D
